OVERCOMING MOSQUITO-RELATED VENTILATION CONCERNS NATURALLY

Mosquitoes are irritating, and you most probably agree to do anything to get them out of your house or killed, right? While it’s true that they are irritating and can also cause many diseases, there’s something else that’s important as well. What’s that?

It’s the ventilation of your house. Yes, you heard it right. When it comes to killing mosquitoes, people often indulge in practices that imbalance the natural ventilation of the house, which, as a human, is important to you and your loved ones. Basically, there are many ways of getting rid of mosquitoes that do what they promise, but their side effects on humans are ignored over their functionality. So, in this blog, we will be discovering ventilation concerns that come while dealing with mosquitoes by using natural ways. So, let’s get started.

Don’t make your home a box with no holes

People often use it as a great practice to keep mosquitoes out of your house. However, by doing this, you are not only keeping the mosquitoes away but the natural air as well. So, it’s not a great solution to get rid of mosquitoes if you just shut all your doors and windows.

Use mosquito net for windows and doors

But then, how will you keep the air coming in and not the mosquitoes? The answer is a sliding mosquito net for windows and doors. These mosquito net frames are really helpful to keep the mosquitoes out while letting the natural air come in. It doesn’t disturb the airflow as it allows you to keep your windows and doors open. So you can still breathe fresh air without any worries.

      Use ceiling fan

Even when insect netting for windows and doors is a great solution, it may block a fraction of the air. Ultimately, you may get less air inside your house. But the solution to it is so simple and already exists in your house. It’s your ceiling fan. To improve the airflow, you can use your ceiling fan to move the air. If you don’t have a ceiling fan, you can also use a table fan. Just put it near the window, and it will suck the air in faster.

        Use natural mosquito repellent

There are many solutions in the market that evaporate some liquid and kill mosquitoes. But these solutions are equally problematic for you and your loved ones. When the evaporated liquid mixes with the air, it degrades the quality of the air. Moreover, when you intake it, it harms your lungs and other body organs.

So, if by any chance, some mosquitoes escape into your house, use natural mosquito repellents like essential oils. You can use lemon eucalyptus, peppermint or citronella. Moreover, citrus peels also work as a mosquito repellent.

          Conclusion

So, this is how you can maintain proper ventilation while keeping mosquitoes away. Always be aware that what you are using to keep mosquitoes away is not harmful for your or your family’s health. Instead, use solutions that have no side effects, like mosquito nets for windows and doors
